The last email of the day

I generally wake up to about 35-40 new emails each weekday morning. The rest of the day, has me and my Inbox in a battle for territory. Today, I had been winning the battle, and was looking forward to my last email of the day, at 1:30am.

It ended up being from one of our teachers, Joe, who has just landed in Gwangju. The trip was smooth, he is excited to see what will come his way, and I have no doubt he will make the most of his experience. It was a great way to finish my day, while he started his year.

The new site is coming....finally!!!!

I am excited to announce that our brand new website should be launching in less than 2 weeks!!! Considering how long this project has been on our to-do list, I'm absolutely thrilled it's getting so close to completion. The delays were not only caused by the fact our business has far exceeded our wildest expectations, which means keeping up to the daily needs of teachers leaves little time for extra projects, but also that we kept having additional ideas on how to perfect it. While we will continue to make improvements to it, we're starting to feel pretty comfortable with it, and welcome you to send us your feedback, on how we can improve it. Huge thanks to Jessica for all of the hard work on the site!

Just to make sure we have enough on our plate, we have also been working on dramatically improving our "backend", which is our database, to help keep our teachers, and schools organized. This should really help the flow of information in both directions. I have a meeting tomorrow to review the next phase of the improvements.

Keep checking in to read about upcoming events, or related ESL news!
